Preparing Your Car for Winter or Summer

With the weather starting to change, I’ve been thinking it’s probably time to get my car ready for the next season. Last year I skipped a proper check before winter and ended up dealing with a weak battery and worn tires right when the temperature dropped. Since then I’ve been trying to stay a bit more organized with seasonal maintenance. I’d like to find a place around Bristol where they can look over the car and make sure everything is ready, like fluids, tires, and the basics. If anyone has a shop they usually go to before winter or summer, I’d appreciate the suggestion.

I usually try to do a seasonal check as well because it saves a lot of trouble later. A while back I was searching for somewhere local before a long winter commute and found VIP Service Center in Bristol when I was already planning an oil change. I ended up bringing my car there and they looked over a few other things while it was in the shop, like fluids and general wear. What I liked was that they pointed out a couple of small things I could keep an eye on without pushing unnecessary repairs. Since then I’ve been stopping by there whenever I want the car checked before the seasons change.
