We are not going back to Madrid
After eight years in Madrid we decided we are not going back there, and the reason is not the city, it is the arithmetic. For what a two-bedroom costs there, we can buy something near the sea with a terrace, and my parents can visit without a hotel.
My mother thinks we are running from something. Maybe. But I counted the numbers three times and they came out the same.
The annoying part is the listings themselves, half of what I saved in spring is already gone, so now I stay with sources that update, https://alegria-realestate.com/ is the one that survived my checking.
The hard part is not choosing the town. It is that everybody at work asks why, and I do not have a short answer.
